Congratulations to the 2015 MS Scholars and Tech Masters

We are so proud of our students who earned MS Scholars and Tech Masters Awards!

Mississippi Scholars is a state program developed by the Mississippi Economic Council that partners with public education in Mississippi. The goal is to encourage and motivate all high school students to complete a defined, rigorous academic course of study that prepares them for successful transition to college, university coursework or vocational and technical training necessary to enter today's competitive job market.

Mississippi Scholars Tech Master is a state program developed by the Mississippi Economic Council that partners with public education in Mississippi. The students that participate in this program are focusing on vocational and technical studies and are preparing for their careers. The Mississippi Scholar Tech Master program curriculum is designed to encourage students to pursue and complete career and technical coursework in high school. The program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to thrive in the workplace.

The recipients earned a medal to wear at graduation along with a $125 scholarship, funded primarily by the Phil Hardin Foundation.
