MHS VAPA Students Unveil New Campus Mural back button

MHS VAPA Students (pictured left to right) Ashley Reed, Amber Reed, Michael Swanson, and Rosey Lau proudly display the new 'The Tree of Creation' mural.

As part of the 'Campus Pride Mural Art Project,' Meridian High School Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) students have created and painted six murals around the school campus.

The latest mural, 'The Tree of Creation,' was unveiled recently. This mural is located at the top of the stairs in the Activities Building at MHS, and it features the word CREATE with each letter representing a different focus of the arts- Connect, Risk, Explore, Appreciate, Think, and Experience.

'The Tree of Creation' was designed by students Ashley Reed and Rosey Lau, but it was painted by many VAPA students.

All of the 'Campus Pride Mural Art Projects' are part of an education grant from the Meridian Arts Council.
