2014-15 School Year Off to a Great Start

A special thanks to the MPSD teachers, students, parents, staff, and community members for helping the 2014-15 school year get off to such a great start! We make a great team!

Are You Ready for Wildcat Football?

The MHS Wildcats will kick-off the season tonight with the “Football Jamboree” hosted at Neshoba Central at 7 p.m.

After the Jamboree, the Wildcats will take on Northwest Rankin on Friday, August 22 at 7 p.m. in Ray Stadium.

2014 Ticket Information:
-Reserved Chair-Back seating Season Ticket: $60 (includes reserved parking)
-Reserved Chair-Back Seating: $12 per game
-General Admission Seating: $8 per game

Love Wildcat Sports? Use one of the following passes to come to all sporting events for one low price!
-All Sport Adult Reserved Seating Pass: $100 (includes reserved seating at football games)
-All Sport Adult Pass: $80
-All Sport Student Pass: $50
-Student Athlete Pass: $25 (MHS Student Athletes can use this pass to attend other sporting events throughout the year.)

Perry Winford, MHS Senior, Completed College Program Before High School Graduation

We are extremely proud of Meridian High School Senior Perry Winford! Through Ross Collins Career and Technical Center, Perry earned an associate’s certificate degree in automotive technology from Meridian Community College before he finished his Junior year of high school. Golden Apple Award Nominations

MPSD is pleased to have four teachers from our district awarded Golden Apples since the program began at the beginning of the 2012-13 school year. The Golden Apple Awards will continue this year, so nominate your favorite teacher by visiting either or and clicking on the Golden Apple logo.

Nominations can be submitted by parents, faculty, or community members, as well as past and present students.

The Street Dance is a PBIS Event for students who have no office referrals and have not had to sign the discipline ladder more than once.
